Sr. Administrative Assistant

*This position will be required to work in the corporate office in Omaha, NE.*


General Position Summary

Responsible for a variety of administrative functions within the sales department. Responsible for confidential and time sensitive material. Prepares routine and advanced correspondence including letters, memoranda, and reports.

What we are looking for:  

  • Someone with 5-7 years of experience providing administrative support
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access and Lotus Notes preferred
  • Demonstrated analytical abilities sufficient to handle most complex administrative functions with the ability to exercise independent judgment in interpreting instructions and determining appropriate course of action in general office situations.
  • Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and multiple priorities and to receive a minimum of detailed supervision and guidance.
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work within the sales team that supports a group of leaders while maintaining a positive attitude and customer service focus.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information
  • Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills (verbal and written)
  • The ability to provide seamless, trustworthy, attentive and resourceful (S.T.A.R.) customer service.
  • Engages well with others and are passionate about providing an exemplary customer experience.

What you will be doing:

  • Schedule and organize complex activities such as appointments, meetings, conferences, travel and department activities
  • Act as a liaison with other departments and outside agencies, including executive level staff such as CEO’s, Presidents, VP’s, etc.
  • Prepare and distribute correspondence and other documents as requested, such as departmental correspondence, letters, reports, memos, contracts, special reports, and minutes of scheduled meetings
  • Creates and manipulates MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Power Point documents utilizing consistent format styles and templates
  • Answers and screens phone calls and mail
