Contract Change Specialist

Serves members and Sales Representatives by completing after issue changes to existing contracts. Responds to inquiries from internal and external customers using both verbal and written communication regarding changes to existing life and/or annuity contracts.                  


  • Meets expectations for attendance and punctuality in accordance with the expectations established by your supervisor and WoodmenLife policy.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.
  • Ability to work overtime as assigned by management.
  • Processes service requests or changes; verifies for completeness including appropriate signature.
  • Performs accounting to issue refund drafts/vouchers for return of premium.
  • Sends acknowledgement of change to member/owner/Sales associate by ordering form letters.
  • Provides efficient service to internal and external customers in order to meet service level goals and productivity level goals.  Makes recommendations for changes that enhance the process and improve customer service.
  • Verifies accuracy of output to ensure quality standards are met and promptly mails documents to Sales force/members.
  • Adheres to Core Operation’s Behavioral Standards including focusing on solutions, being open to feedback and dialogue, taking initiative, and being involved and accountable. 


  • The ability to provide seamless, trustworthy, attentive and resourceful (S.T.A.R.) customer service.
  • Engages well with others and are passionate about providing an exemplary customer experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent education/experience required.
  • Demonstrates computer skills; ability to type 35 WPM with emphasis on accuracy required.
  • Excellent customer service skills required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment. 
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work in order to effectively meet deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and sensitivity of information is required.
  • Adheres to the core values and moral principles of the business and values diversity in others.
  • Ability to learn and successfully process work on multiple operating systems.
